Yes it can! We have recently introduced this feature because we knew that many people would love to have the ability to download Closed Captions. To do so, all you have to do is download the video like you do with any other video, and click on "Yes" when VDownloader asks you if you want to download the closed captions (1). The closed captions will be saved as a .srt file in the same folder as the video. To save you a few clicks in the future, you can also check the "Remember my choice and don't ask again" box, so VDownloader always saves the closed captions along with the video in the future.
